Sharefax Credit Union Chooses AFTECH Unit of Fiserv for Core Processing Services
Malvern, Pa., Dec. 10, 2004 - AFTECH, a unit of Fiserv Inc. (Nasdaq: FISV), announced that Sharefax Credit Union in Batavia, Ohio, picked AFTECH's Advantage core processing system and a wide range of AFTECH technology applications. The total AFTECH package will enable the $175 million credit union to expand its member service offerings and improve operating efficiencies, according to Sharefax President Arthur Kremer.
"We looked at a number of AFTECH competitors, including Symitar, Open Solutions, and others, and felt that none could provide more benefits to our members than what AFTECH offered," Kremer said. "Moving to the Advantage system lets us provide additional services that we have been unable to provide in the past."
In addition to the Advantage core processing, Sharefax invested in AFTECH's new Member Relationship Management, Non-Member Loan, and Relationship Pricing products; Advantage Net Credit Bureau; e-mail notification; overdraft limit processing; and RD3. The investment in RD3 includes an AFTECH Professional Services engagement to create branch and functional cost analysis; insurance tracking; and investment tracking capacity.
Sharefax Credit Union serves over 20,000 members from more than 400 employee groups in the Cincinnati, Ohio, area.
